We are seeking a talented and switched-on Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with a minimum 3 years’ experience and a keen interest in developing expertise within information security.

Working as an extension of our client’s teams, including some of the UK’s largest organisations, our ideal candidate will have a solid foundation of 2nd and 3rd line support experience, coupled with strong communication, presentation, and critical thinking/analytical skills. While an understanding of security policies and processes will be beneficial, we welcome candidates who are motivated to expand their skillset and take the next step in their career – must be available for an immediate start.

Essential skills, knowledge and experience: 

• BSc/MSc Computer Science
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in a 2nd/3rd line infrastructure engineer role
• Strong technical skills including, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Azure and Active Directory
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills

Desirable skills, knowledge and experience: 

• Certifications in Information Security and /or Information Technology, such as CISSP, CISM, CISA or equivalent, are a plus
• Awareness of Information Security Policies and Frameworks plus vulnerability management and Risk Assessments
• Interest in and awareness of security industry trends
